The Chloé Cà Phê Vietnam Origin Tour — 2026
A 10-Day Coffee Farm Tour Through Vietnam's Specialty Coffee Heartland
Tentative window: Late November / early December 2026
Route: Saigon → Đà Lạt → Đà Nẵng → Huế → Saigon
Format: All-inclusive · 10 guests maximum · led by the founders
A Coffee Origin Trip, Not a Tour
There is a difference between visiting a country and reading its soil. Most coffee drinkers never stand in the red volcanic earth of the Central Highlands. Few sit on the verandah of an 85+ point farm at sunrise, hands warm around a freshly poured cup the farmer's family roasted that morning.
The Chloé Cà Phê Vietnam Origin Tour is built for the people who want the second experience. We work the way a good camp does — small group, real fire, slower pace, every detail considered so you don't have to think about it. Ten days. Ten guests. One quiet, carefully drawn line through the country that grows the coffee on your shelf.
This is a Vietnamese coffee farm tour for tastemakers, roasters, baristas, and the curious — guided by the founders, designed around access most travelers never see.
The Itinerary — A Specialty Coffee Journey Through Vietnam
Days 1–2 · Saigon · The New Wave
The country's specialty coffee renaissance begins here. We skip the well-worn tourist circuit and step directly into Saigon's third-wave roasteries, the architectural cafés rewriting Vietnamese hospitality, and private cupping rooms most visitors will never enter.
- Stay: Boutique properties chosen for craft and quiet
- Taste: Private seed-to-cup sessions with Vietnam's leading Q-Graders
- Explore: Hidden ateliers and design-led cafés where heritage meets the avant-garde
Days 3–5 · Đà Lạt · The Highlands & The Heroes
The heart of the trip. We travel by private road into Đà Lạt — 1,550 meters of "Eternal Spring," pine forest, and the highland farms that shape Vietnam's specialty arabica future. This is what a true Đà Lạt coffee farm tour should feel like: unhurried, at altitude, on the ground with the people who do the work.
- Meet: The families behind Thy Thy Farm Arabica and Bui Coffee Supply Fine Robusta
- Do the work: A real day-in-the-life — harvesting cherries, washing and natural processing, fire-roasting at origin
- Stay: Mist-covered homestays tucked into the hillsides — the highland equivalent of a quiet campsite at first light
Days 6–7 · Đà Nẵng · The Reset
A pause. The trip is paced so the middle days breathe.
- Day trip to Hội An — lantern-lit old town, heritage shophouses, the Memories of Hội An cultural show
- The reset — coastal air, slow coffee, time to sit with what you've seen so far
Days 8–9 · Huế · The Ancient Imperial City
A side of Vietnamese coffee almost no one outside the trade has tasted.
- The farms: Out to the rural borders where 30-foot Liberica trees grow wild — one of the rarest coffee experiences in Vietnam
-
The culture: The former imperial capital, walked slowly, on local time
Days 10 · Saigon · The Farewell Table
We return to Saigon for a private multi-course farewell dinner — a quiet celebration of the farmers, the hands, and the small community of travelers we've built across the ten days.
What Sets This Coffee Experience in Vietnam Apart
We are not a tour company. We are your cultural translators — owners of a working roastery, with relationships built over years, not booked through an agency.
- The "Sweet Grass" perspective. Learn about traditional Vietnamese Cỏ Ngọt (stevia) used in our cascara, and the salt-fermentation techniques quietly changing the world's view of Robusta.
- A zero-waste ethos. See firsthand how the entire coffee cherry is repurposed to support farmer livelihoods.
- Total logistics mastery. Domestic flights, private ground transport, visa guidance — handled. You arrive with a passport and curiosity; we carry everything else.
- Founder-led. Every farm visit, every meal, every cupping — designed by the people who built Chloé Cà Phê.
