Towering trees. Elusive cherries. A singular cup.
Liberica arrived in Vietnam over a century ago and remains one of its rarest and most compelling coffees. Harvested from trees that stretch skyward—some over 65 feet tall—this Liberica offers an unmistakable profile: deep tropical fruit, cacao husk, tamarind, and warm spice. A very labor-intensive and dangerously hard crop to harvest, it stands as a bold counterpoint to the familiar, an invitation to taste Vietnam’s lesser-known botanical heritage.
