Releasing on September 5,

We are proud to share this very special collaboration with La Marzocco Home.

At Chloé Cà Phê & Roastery, we believe that every cup tells a story. For us, that story begins in Vietnam—the world’s second-largest coffee producer, yet still an underdog in the global specialty market. September’s La Marzocco Home Espresso Subscription brings you two coffees that rarely leave Vietnam, but are now in Sacramento: Coffea canephora (Fine Robusta) and Coffea liberica.

This is more than a tasting—it’s an invitation to reimagine what Vietnamese coffee can be.

Why Vietnam? Why Now?
For decades, Vietnamese coffee has been overlooked in the specialty world. But at Chloé Cà Phê & Roastery, our mission is to change that. We work directly with farmers in Vietnam—families who have cultivated coffee for generations—paying above fair-trade prices to ensure their craft is respected and sustained.

By focusing on rare and heritage varietals like Coffea liberica ( with striking floral and jackfruit notes) and Coffea canephora (known as Fine Robusta, but here cultivated at specialty-grade with deep cocoa and tropical fruit complexity), we are rewriting the narrative of Vietnamese coffee.

The Coffees You’ll Receive
Coffea canephora (Fine Robusta) – Bold and smooth, with rich cocoa undertones and hints of ripe mango and sugarcane. This is not the bitter Robusta you may know; it’s meticulously cultivated and roasted to highlight sweetness, balance, and crema that lingers luxuriously on the palate.

Coffea liberica – A coffee unlike any other. Expect a syrupy body, bright tropical acidity, and aromatic notes of lychee, jackfruit, and wildflower honey. In the cup, it’s both exotic and grounding—a reminder of Vietnam’s biodiversity.

Together, these coffees showcase Vietnam’s capacity for nuance, depth, and distinction—proof that specialty is not defined by geography, but by dedication.

Chloé Cà Phê & Roastery is named after our daughter—our reminder that this work is about legacy, heritage, and future generations.
By bringing these coffees to the La Marzocco Home community, we’re sharing not just beans, but the heart of Vietnam.

Continue the Journey
If these two bags open your eyes to Vietnamese coffee, we invite you to keep exploring with us.
