Vuong Family Farm — Lạc Dương, Lâm Đồng
Anh Hiệp and his brother didn't inherit a showcase farm — they built one. Starting from their parents' smallholder plot in Lạc Dương, they've spent the last decade methodically transitioning toward high-altitude Arabica, focusing specifically on Java and THA1, two varietals that perform well at elevation and hold up in complex processing. They're not experimenting — this is a deliberate, long-term production shift, and the Lạc Dương micro-climate at 1,400 masl gives them the diurnal range to back it up.
The processing facility is purpose-built for controlled fermentation. The anaerobic honey on this lot was run with peak-ripe cherry selection only — the Vuong family's standard practice, not a one-off. Green comes off their line consistently within the 10–11% moisture window, which is what you want for long-haul freight and stable shelf life in import warehouses.
Beyond the agronomics: Anh Hiệp employs a significant portion of the surrounding Kơho community — one of the highland ethnic groups historically tied to Lâm Đồng's coffee culture. For roasters positioning around supply chain ethics, this is a story you can actually verify on a sourcing trip. We have.
The Vuong farm is one of our anchor stops on the origin tour for a reason.
